Chicago Humanities Festival

Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) is an annual event that brings together Chicagoans who are interested in talking with each other and the foremost thinkers of our time. From its beginning as a single day, the Festival has grown to a three-week event, offering 100 programs to showcase global leaders. Ticket prices are kept low to encourage participation from all socioeconomic groups. CHF believes that access to cultural, artistic and educational opportunities is a necessary element for a healthy and robust civic environment. In addition to its annual event, CHF runs the Sights & Sounds Festival for children, an online humanities journal, professional development programs for teachers and an after-school writing program, in conjunction with Chicago Park District.
