Jerusalem Foundation

The Jerusalem Foundation's School Rainwater Harvesting Program conserves water for schools with help from students and the surrounding community. Each participating school receives a harvesting system to capture rainfall that would otherwise be lost. In each school, a group of 15-30 students participate in a special leadership program to teach sustainable practices and plan school activities. During the rainy season, the harvesting system may supply up to 90% of the school’s water use.
